SYDNEY, Australia - 3 May, 2010 - Acxiom® Corporation (Nasdaq: ACXM), a global leader in interactive marketing services and customer information management, today announced the appointment of former ANZ Chief Executive Officer(CEO), Paul Turner, to the position of Customer Data Integration (CDI) and Customer Information Product (CIP) Manager for Asia Pacific.
Acxiom globally has provided market leading customer information products and services to its clients across multiple channels and industries for more than 40 years. It has also led the way in best practice methods of data processing and integration to help enable B2B and B2C organisations connect with their customers and help power profitable marketing and business decisions.
In his new role Turner will oversee all strategic product development opportunities throughout Asia Pacific. During his thirty-year tenure with Acxiom Paul has gained a unique depth and breadth of expertise in many aspects of Information Technology and the Direct Marketing industry. He moved from Acxiom in the UK to take on the role of Information Technology leader in Australia, heading the technology strategy that has resulted in Acxiom’s market leading suite of DM solutions. He was appointed CEO in August 2005.
Turner said, “I am looking forward to taking on the challenge of continuing to strengthen Acxiom’s market leading position in customer data management and the provision of information products across Asia Pacific. The announcement comes as Acxiom appoints ex-5th Finger International co-founder and VP, Warren Billington, to Turner’s former position of CEO, Acxiom Australia and New Zealand. Billington has more than 20 years experience in business and consumer marketing for leading global organisations.
